I was trying to convey the message that a lot of us will need to rebuild due to the mileage of our cars. My Z is no longer a daily driver but, it still has very high mileage. This is something that many of us (who can afford this) will need to factor into the project. I searched for a long time to plan this project and never found any information that was even remotely as helpful as this post and it's replies. Personally, I think that I can find better things to do with $1600.00 if in fact that's what the final cost of the project will be. I am working with mechanics that I am friends with to try and find a cheaper alternative but, since I have the diff out I will probably get the gears installed anyway :( - Alex
